SYDNEY, NOVA SCOTIAIllusionist Sam Pearce presents unforgettable corporate entertainment in Nova Scotia.

More than 450 high-profile executives travelled to Centre 200 to attend Viva Las Vegas,  a grand-scale gala supporting the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.  Guests of the presenting sponsor, Pepsi, were joined by executives from companies including BMO, National Bank, RBC, Scotiabank, Sysco, and countess more.

Corporate Entertainment

The theatrical corporate event was hosted at Centre 200, an impressive 20,000 square foot arena, in the heart of downtown Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Guests were welcomed by Illusionist Sam Pearce, when doors opened for cocktails. The corporate entertainer performed his incredible Mingle Magic Entertainment. The Illusionist helped spark conversation between guests, by performing his magic inches away from their eyes!

Throughout the evening, guests were treated to variety entertainment from local musicians, and dancers, while casino dealers offered mock gambling at poker tables surrounding the arena.

Illusionist Sam Pearce, the headlining entertainer, was introduced by the Emcee at 9 PM. During the corporate entertainer’s 30-minute performance, he thrilled guests with his incredible Las Vegas-style illusions, and his hilarious clean comedy entertainment, wherein he invited many guests to join him on stage!

Following the Illusionist’s show, he reappeared on stage to help introduce a special guest.  A large red curtain was brought on stage, and Pearce’s assistant was wrapped inside.  Seconds later, when the curtain was unwrapped, the VIP magically appeared from within the cloth!

Theatrical Equipment

Illusionist Sam Pearce, along with his Technical Director and On-Stage Assistant, travelled to Sydney Nova Scotia by air, while the equipment for the show, was shipped to the venue by road, one week prior to the event.

The theatrical equipment, weighing in excess of one thousand pounds, was prepared for the journey inside Pearce Theatrical‘s 15,000 square foot Warehouse and Distribution Hub, in Kitchener Ontario.

The equipment cases were secured to pallets, wrapped in black plastic film, and labelled using Pearce Theatrical’s thermal label technology. When the 53′ tractor trailer arrived to pick-up the freight shipment, warehouse staff used a forklift to safely load the equipment into the trailer – headed to Centre 200 in Sydney, Nova Scotia.

Pearce Theatrical commissioned Canada’s largest freight company, with 34 terminals across the country, to transport the equipment to the venue. The 2085 kilometre journey to the venue was completed in just three days, which allowed the equipment to arrive at the venue days before the team of technicians.
